Not my cup of tea but I wouldn't think it is a paperweight, too large, though it could always be used for that. I know some folk who could use tennis nets as bras for a comparison........

I think the base on the one you are looking at is too small to be a paperweight. It would fall over too easily. There are some glass pieces on the same site which are classed as paperweights and have a much bigger base.
