Laptop Keeps Trying To Install The Same Updates ........

This started a few days ago ...... the usual thing - an icon appeared in the bottom right hand corner, informing me that new updates were available, so I downloaded them and installed them.
The next time I switched on, the icon appeared again, with more updates, so I downloaded them and installed them, etc.
Then even more updates the next time I switched on, so I decided to check the update history and it keeps telling me to install the same updates. According to the update history, I've installed these updates (several times) succesfully, so why does it keep telling me to install them again ??
I'm using Win Vista and the updates in question are:
Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 Suites (KB2760588);
Security Update for Excel 2003 (KB2810048);
Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 Suites (KB2760411).

Anyone any ideas why it keeps telling me to install the "new" updates, when according to the update history, they've already been installed ??

Hmm - it looks like it could be that the updates are at fault and not my laptop or any infection etc .....
Yes I thought it was just a problem with me. It looks like it happens occasionally from a quick Google and there are suggestions on how to stop it.
Click on the 'Custom install' radio button, press continue. On the next screen deselect the three updates by unticking the three radio buttons. Continue and on the next screen tick the 'don't show these again' button. Worked for me - with help from OH!

Thank You very much Methyl and Trishy mine seems to be sorted now.
Those which have been installed four times on my computer are:-

KB2760411...KB2760588...KB2760583

MS is really making a mess of things.

In the latest updates there are 3 for Office that are causing issues . What I did was to hide them instead of installing them and I haven't had an issue since. Microsoft are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
Looks as if I am now ok. No longer any message telling me that there are 3 Important updates available ( KB2760411...KB2760588...KB2760583 )
