A DIY'er could do that.
A DIYer would do it for a cup of plumbers petrol.
Question Author
yeh true i dont know any diy'ers could prob do it myself if i buy a gas blow torch but its has to be done properly.its not my property
Question Author
had it been a screw joint i'd have no problem doing it
thumper you don't need a gas thing they use a compression cap (spelling / )
check your pipe width and ask at your local B and q

all i used was a hacksaw and a couple of adjustabled spanners

How about a Compression Cap, no gas needed

^^^^^^ Snap!
If it's a gas pipe it has to be soldered
and a file after cutting the pipe
