Has anyone ellse had an email from bt about the rationalisation of email addresses?
If I want to keep my yahoo email address I have to actively tell them before September 16th.
Have you had the same message?
Maybe its because we initially had a bt broadband and thus a btinternet address. Then we changed to Sky broadband and kept the bt address and now we are back with bt. All because of the sport provision.
Hi Tilly.....Full marks to boxtops....She was right in thinking that the people contacted are those who were originally with BT for Broadband. Consequently, if you wish to retain your existing BT E/mail address you must act before September 16th; but there will be a monthly payment involved for the 'privilege' of keeping your address.
Oops, I failed to carefully observe what you said.... You are back with BT so hopefully it should be an easy matter to retain your address, without any additional cost.
Alston, thank you for the clarification (and tilly for raising it in the first place, in case anyone else asks me) - this has been a really useful discussion.
boxtops, Yahoo said last month the log in would change later in the month.
Then the message disappeared. Recently reappeared , again, later this month.
What are they playing at?
daisy, the Yahoo log-in will change - presumably at the same time as tilly's email address, i.e. 16 Sept. There is a huge message on my log-in page saying things are changing (although no date).
