I recently bought a Samsung cylinder bagless vacuum cleaner from Currys for around £75.
It is the best cleaner I have owned.
Very powerful suction, easy to empty, and with a long cable.
Does an excellent job and I am very pleased with it.

Have to say that my Henry is simply the best cleaner I've had, and I've tried most. It does clean up after the long haired cat, it cleans everything.
