Best vacuum cleaner for hardwood floors

Any suggestions as to which is the best vac for hardwood and laminate floors please? I am getting rid of all my carpets and having hardwood floors laid but I have been told that my current vac, which has plastic wheels is not suitable and I should get one with rubber wheels. It has been suggested that I buy a Henry Hoover - what does anyone else think please?

Can't go wrong. Lots of professional cleaners use them for homes and offices.

We have all cushioned vinyl floors as we have pets, we have had a henry for several years and have never regreted our purchase for a second would recommend,

We use our Dyson on the hard floor setting and it works perfectly!

Has that got plastic wheels chazza......it was the salesman warned me about this when I was buying the flooring....

I think it has, I can't remember! But it doesn't score or mark our floor at all!

If you research Which, you will see that Miele cleaners always come out tops for laminate floors and always feature as a best buy anyway.

We have one and have bought another for our son. They are brilliant and appear to be built to last.
