He virtually stopped drinking, he just finds some reason every now and then to drink, reasons which to me are not really, I was treated for cancer a couple of months ago and he didn't drink then, but he gets reasons inside his head that I can't fathom and he drinks.
Ok. Wonder if depression is under control enough? May be worth getting that checked first, so he has no reason to rely on the alcohol. Is he with you now? And do you think he'll be drinking tomorrow?
He's in bed now, but no, I don't think his depression is under control, but I also don't think he will drink tomorrow, as I said, it's the least excuse, but if there isn't one, then he doesn't drink, at the same time I also feel as though he is looking for an excuse. I have had a drink tonight, but I very rarely drink and it has always been that way with me, I don't like to feel out if control so don't really drink.
If you are right about him not drinking tomorrow then that is good. Try and get a good night's sleep. I hope you feel better about things tomorrow. All the best.
Thanks info, just some chocolate birthday cake needs to be eaten (grandsons birthday Thursday, but I thought I'd do it all in one) so I'm going to bed shortly xx
That is good. Have a good rest, but i would advise getting the depression meds reviewed asap. Particularly, if he's had two downfalls in last few months. Best wishes x
