Just been hearing about this on radio news and I wonder if it's time to introduce a 'Trip Advisor' system for hospital wards and clinics. The comments should be revealing.

Interesting idea but I can't see it happening
as a nurse, i would welcome it. i keep telling my bosses until i am blue in the face that we don't have enough staff.....and they don't listen.
Probably not a good idea with the current trip advisor story!

No trip advisor reviews are terrible, people often complain about the silliest things ("I gave it 2 stars because they only provided one shower cap in the bathroom and the soap smelled of lemons and I am allergic to lemons etc etc.....")

I've worked in NHS community clinics which we ran efficiently! One OPD in the local hospital is dreadful, patients expected to sit for ages in a stuffy corridor before eventually being seen. I've complained about the mis-management of this clinic several times but it never improves, none of the staff seem to care particularly the clinic manager.
i'm really not sure how useful it would be - although you can in theory chose to have your treatment in any (english) hospital, most people cannot (practically) chose anything other than their local hospital. I think a trip advisor style thing would just worry people who have no other choice than to go to their local

Never seen that!!
Could become scaremongering though. I would be against it personally and certainly wouldn't use it.
The NHS has to sort itself out from the very core, not by disgruntled patients, who have a complaints procedure they can follow.
