Just watched the last episode of Luther and about 20 mins before the end the recording finished for some unexplained reason! Would someone kindly tell me what happened and who is Alice? and does he get to Mary in time? Thank you

Very hard to explain - you need to have watched the first series to understand Alice - can you catch it iplayer - a great deal happened in the last 20 minutes

Alice is one of the sexiest women in the world.

Alice is a very OTT character.
She's some sort of evil superwoman and totally unrealistic. She killed her parents and got away with it in season 1 but apparently knows every trick in the book.
She slightly spoils it for me.

i preferred her in Jane Eyre. I found the programme totally unrealistic, the gunman wouldn't have hesitated, and why did he go on hurting those who had done nothing wrong, if he wanted to hurt the really bad guys then why drag others into it
