Turkish Ice Cream
3 Answers
I've just come back from holiday in Turkey, where they have the most amazing thick ice cream, unlike any European one. Does anyone know where I can get this 'Dondurma' style of ice cream in this country, preferably in the South East?

This is unlike any ice cream I have had anywhere, because it is so thick ; it is made with double cream, and you have to leave it quite a while for it to get warm enough to eat. But it sounds exactly like the ice cream you are describing..
