Is anyone as horrified as I am that Barrymore is rumoured to be on next edition of Big Brother, for a fee of 150,000. This excuse for a man legged it when a man was dying in his pool. I have Emailed Channel 4 to view my opinion, and hope anyone else who feels the same will do likewise.

gary baldy, I have spoken with Mr Simpson and he assures me that he has never heard of you and definitely plays basketball. He seems to think you are talking about O J Simpson a name I never mentioned.
cherry-lol!! I also remember MB being on the salon and the male hairdresser (can't remember his name)jabbering on to him about swimming and then later realizing what he'd said- hilarious!! As so many on here have said while not accusing him of anything actually illegal I think he's a cowardly weasel of a man and no I for one would not want him around if I or my kids needed help

Oh Cherry Plum,

Thats such a good un' I P***ed myself laughing before S***ing myself (There's lumps of it round the back) so if Michael Barrymore dived into my deep end at the moment he'll get more than just egg on his face.

Chow for the laugh Cherry Pie

pusfilledbum - I don't deny MB is an unfunny, weasly, arse of a man, who I wouldn't care if he was never seen again - but he still isn't a killer!

I accept that undoubtedly he should have acted differently and done more to help the man, but panicking and being a coward is loathsome - but not illegal!

The size of the mans rectum may have been a question that needed answering by the police - but it isn't illegal and wasn't the cause of death! What that has to do with the situation, I don't know - i suspect the issue is more of a problem in your head and you have issues with it, rather than it being a valid point in this case.

My point about eastenders was about leslie grantham serving time for shooting a cab driver in the head many years ago, and shock horror! sucking his finger! - but i'll bet you watch eastenders don't you?

So I had a point to my TV show question - what was yours with the queer as folk reference? which I did watch some of, though I fail to see any relevance here - or is it that you are homophobic and that is where your hatred of MB and preoccupation with rectums filled with garden fresh vegetables stems from?

Yoko,

How do you know the vegetables were fresh?

Do you want to come to a pool party next week?

bring your own root crop

bumarsedump - I'll be there! You better hope i don't snuff it though or i'll hold you fully responsible and come back and haunt you!!!

they must have been fresh veg, but if not MB should be hanged, as serving unfresh food at a party is a real fauxpas!

your name is so much better than mine for twisting about...ha ha

btw - you didn't answer my questions...mmm...

I think eveyone should give the guy a break - okwhat happeed was awful but because he is a public figure he has to leave his job - if he was a ember of the public and was found not guilty in a court of law as he was then he would be able to return to work after having been suspended. people in the media who show they are human and have flaws are fe to the lins and kicked out of their js even when there is no case - MATTHEW KELLY - he's now woring as a serious character actor and he had the same crap. Barrymore hid the fact he was gay but his wife knew about it as many people within the media knew he was for years beofre it came out. She could cope with it when it was kept private - she lost it when he outed himself. There's many people who have hidden their exuality for fear of iscriminating narrow-minded biggots who only look at the speck in omeone else's eye but fail to see the gangplank sticking out their own.

i think you are being very harsh to this guy. there is no proof he did n e thing that contributed to that man dying. remember that everyone enjoyed the work barrymore did before that incident and therefore i think it is great to see him back on tv

Incidentally, i could stand and watch someone die right in front of me, if i wanted, and not lift a finger to help - and the law could not do a thing to me.

There is no legal obligation to assist someone when they are in trouble.

The only 'obligation' is moral - and having no morals is not illegal either.

Just to clarify that this is hypothetical and from a legal standpoint - i personally would do all i could do help someone, probably even put myself in danger for a family member, and have done numerous first aid courses, health and safety courses and saved a drowning child when i was about 14.

I just think people are misunderstanding ethics and the law.

Of course my name is better for changing about especially the last one;

bumarsedump

Hold on though, I don't appear to have an A, M, R, P in the name so basically its your rules once again.

**** in a Jock!

Well I have used all your letters

Or what about;

Jerk off in a sock

Or Jokes-R-Us
PokesBlokes

Lets try to keep the joke (excuse the pun) names to a more intellectual level and originality I mean bumarsedump = bulbousdome

Hmm! tried to work this one out, definitely not an anagram, could be I have to split the word into 3 syllables;

Bulb-Ous-Dome

Bum-arse-dump

No still none the wiser.

Are you practicing Spoonerism or just talking bo++ox

Jock-E

Have you read your post

What utter S**T

I gather you are saying that you could watch a man drown, after being sexually abused at your residence and you would be free of prosecution because it is NOT ILLEGAL, well you certainly live up to your name JOKE-O (Braindead are you?)

There are many ways to aid a drowning victim i.e. phoning emergency services, throwing a life-belt, but instead of doing this (Imaginary Scenario) you and your party of revellers stand and watch the man drown....'Free of Guilt'

WHAT WHIZZER & CHIPS COMIC ARE YOU QUOTTING THIS ALTERNATIVE UK LAW FROM?

At law, an accomplice is a person who actively participates in the commission of a crime, even though they take no part in the actual criminal offence. For example, in a bank robbery, the person who points the gun at the teller and asks for the money is guilty of armed robbery. However, anyone else directly involved in the commission of the crime, such as the lookout, a second gunman, or the getaway car driver, is an accomplice.

At law, an accomplice has the same degree of guilt as the person they are assisting and is subject to prosecution for the same crime and faces the same criminal penalties. As such, the three accomplices to the bank robbery above can also be found guilty of armed robbery even though only one stole the money.

Accessories may supply aid to the criminal enterprise, but are not directly involved in its planning and execution. For example, the person who gave the bank robbers their guns is an accessory before the fact. The person who launders the money afterwards in an accessory after the fact.

I won't repeat my last post as for some reason AB ed has removed it - but I am sure you saw it, bu ti will repeat my challenge -

If you can PROVE to me that there is law (i.e, a legal document or legal website) that states " it is illegal not to assist someone who is in need of medical assistance" and that it is punishable by being hounded out of the country and/or a prison sentence - and i will issue a full apology to you - i know you won't find it.

Any sign of this law yet bbd???

I didn't think so. Feel a bit silly now do you?
