That Holly Willoughby's dress was the subject of complaint, as being too revealing, was news last week, not only extensively in tabloids but in a small paragraph in The Times. It turns out that 130 people complained but 6.75 million watched the show. What then was the editors' thinking in giving the complaints any space at all ?

I'm just jealous!

Maybe that's the problem with this 130 folk that complained?

Aog, I like a bit of nonsense in Chatterbank. As do you, admit it, and not just in Chatterbank. I had hoped, with your obvious affection for, and knowledge of, at least one tabloid in particular, you could answer my question.

The French phrase is "Elle a (or il y a) du monde au balcon" which is literally that she has (or there are) people or, better, a crowd, on the balcony, but that really refers to the circle in a theatre. I am surprised that anyone learned that at school; the school must have been more liberal than mine was, though more in tune with how French people think!
I hope that's an ice cream she's holding Sandy.

If it is an ice cream, it would have melted instantly . Under the studio lights, I mean.
Deck the halls with Bow-Wow-Wows of Holly. She is supposed to be a presenter and it seems to me she presented them quite well. Perhaps a few of the old gits who complained had heart troubles ?
i very much doubt if many of the 130 were old gits
