I suspect my version of being "British" is very different to what you think of as being British, TWR.

Looking at what I often see posted on this site as an example of being British from some of the more bigoted posters... no I'm ashamed to be included in the same nationality as them and therefore ashamed to be British.

Seeing how the people I've chosen as being close friends who hale from the same country as me act, yes I'm proud to be the same nationality as they are and therefore proud to be British.

My 1st passport said I was English.
My 2nd passport said I was British.
The one I have now says I'm European.
At heart I am just a Yorkshire lass. Please don't try to pigeon hole me.
