Have Decided To Read Books Again

Went to library today first time in a number of years and I had listed quite a number of books of Catherine Cookson that I had not read. Library did not have one book listed or any of Catherine's that I may have read before.

Generally looked about and picked up another 3 books - but think the library has went to the dogs. Hardly any books and very many empty shelves. Is that more cutbacks?

Go to any charity shop. We sell all our books for 50p hardback and paperback.

Before i had the pc, i used to read loads of books, and cant wait to read some that I have stored away for when i have a day or two all on my own.

no, not getting that though i know I've heard deaf pronounced deef but not with 'corned' in front of it

I look through the book reviews in the Sunday papers and make a note of any I would like to read then take it to my local library and they always get them for me, mind you the library nearest to me has closed so now my "local library" is a bus ride away, no use trying to drive there you cant park anywhere near.

I agree with jeza, Lesley Pearse is a good one to try. And "Me before You" by Jojo Moyes, i think everyone should read.
