I am so not computer literate and seem to be touching buttons and generally b**gering things up lately.

Since yesterday when I type a message like this one some words turn blue as a link? Names like Tesco or Insurance for example.

If I click on any of these words I get a message I have been chosen to answer a survey or similar words like that!

Any idea what I have done and how to correct it please.

Many Thanks.

Installed anything new lately, like toolbars or addons for your browsers?

Go on, give us a clue ☺
What version of Windows you using? What internet browser are you using?
Sounds like malware, virus scan might find it.

Download and run Malwarebytes from the link above. Taking care not to enable the 30 day trial.
That should sort it out.
Snap!!

Great minds and all that...
It can depend on where you see them. If at some websites it can be what the site does to earn money, bring up ad links. If a more general issue then as folk have suggested, scan your PC for malware.

Done a Virus Scan and a Malware.....problem still there.

I had installed Open Office and wondered if it was that, so uninstalled it. Problem still there.

Try restoring the system to a date prior to when the issue became evident.
Check the Add-ons / Extensions in Firefox for the savesales 3 extension, if it is installed delete/remove it.
Look in add/remove programs for any toolbars.
That's what it was when I had a similar problem.

It's all hit and miss with me....mostly miss. Sorry I can't explain better.
