I have recently purchased a garmin i3 street pilot sat nav system. It keeps on saying that it cannot find the satellites. My car is a Citreon C5, Could it be that the system needs an extra aerial? Has my car got a special windscreen that may block the signals?

Any info would be welcome

A number of Citroens have a heat reflective front windscreen and that is likely to be the cause of no signal. Does the unit find the satellites if you use it outside the car?
I know that on the 307 with alu coated screens there is a shaded area around the rear view mirror that isn't coated. Good chance the citroen is the same.

Thanks to both alan 30 and Auto-tecnica, I will enquire at my local dealers to try and find the answer.

Should have added that this uncoated area is there to stick your aerial onto.
