Mg6 Sat Nav Update

I am the owner of a 2011 mg6 magnette which has a sat nav built into it. As the car is now over 3 years old I have noticed that the sat nav is out of date especially in areas where the speed limits have changed.

Can anyone tell me who manufactures the sat nav in the car so that I can enquire about obtaining any updates that have been supplied. The sat nav has an SD card so I presume any update would be supplied on a new card.

Contact an MG dealer they should have the info.My Fucus has a similar set up and I was told it would be updated as part of the normal service

If you do update your satnav:

a) don't expect it to be bang up-to-date - changes take a while to incorporate.

b) expect to be ripped off with an extortionate price (unless things have changed recently).
