A lesbian fancies other girls, a gay man other men, Hetrosexuals fancy opposite sex and Bi-sexuals go for both. But does anyone know of any people that just dont fancy anyone, dont get turned on by people in general and what are they called??

Personally I like a bit of everything.

However someone who fancies noone, its got to be against nature. We are attracted to people visually, by smell, and their voice could do it. I would think that there would have to be a part of the brain that doesnt work or some trauma in their life blocking it, so maybe mentally ill would fit the bill.

'Asexual' is the appropriate word, where the prefix 'a' suggests 'the absence of'. You find it in other words such as amoral, atheist and so on.

Well I tried thinking about it and the closest I could get to anyone was Cliff Richard. I mean if say you got an Apple Pie one side and a choc cake the other. I dont like Apple Pie, but some people dont like Choc Cake, some people are greedy and would have both, but some dont like either. :-)

Wow thanks quizmaster. Asexual hey, now I know :-)
There was a question posted on here a while ago by someone who is asexual, I don't remember what the question was) but someone posted a link to a site. Try the search facility here and I'm sure it'll come up, but it was a really good site and explained a lot :)

It is surely impossible to tell if someone is attracted to any gender, but simply prefers not to act on that attraction? I am sure Cliff Richard has his 'fancies' but he has chosen a life of celibacy - much to the media and general public's curiosity.

Some people don't interact with people around them in a sexual way, but there is always the potential for them to alter their attitude of the right 'attraction' comes along.

This story can lead you to an asexual chat and information site.

with my bad luck with men, god i wish i could get a vaccine or something to make assexual!Platonic all the way :-)

to be honest I have read about this, it exists, albeit its not common.basically, it is someone with no sex drive or sexual attraction to either sex.so be it.we have a diverse culture, why not?

bondy, aren't you describing teenage boys?

I describe myself an bisexual but a large majority of the time i do feel asexual. People usually (and i mean 99 percent of the time) don't turn me on at all. However i am trying hard to remedy this, although i think that maybe age has something to do with it, and how emotionally mature you feel? As i've begun to accept myself a little more, i've found people more attractive. It's been discussed before about the link between self-love and loving others, myabe its similar for this.
