Well we made it, but rained all last night and most of today. Last night watching Corrie, there was something very strange all the way through. I could hear stage directions, like, Stella sighs, Roy opens the letter, every action was described and when they changed a scene they announce it, the bistro, Gail's house etc. Did anyone else get this or was it just us, only happened in Corrie, rest of programmes didn't have t,his, it was very off putting.

You were watchind the audio description channel for blind & partially sighted viewers:-)
It has happened automatically a couple of times on my Sky+

Normally you have to set it up on the remote control.

No it was the normal channel, this is in a holiday park mobile home, stayed on itv for quite a while after Corrie, programme between the two episodes was not affected, started again in second Corrie episode, then afterwards all ok. The sound was not at a high volume, just enough to annoy.
Probably some crossed wires at the studio then.
dear lawd, you're on holiday and watching Corrie?!
good grief woman, get a grip!! xx

Wilts an can't access that link, laptop keeps logging me off when I try to go on it, will try it later.
Not all programmes have Audio description, which would explain why you only heard it on Corrie.
