Mine is about 2 years old, bought in Morrisons and has never been used.
17 years, woolworths
No flouncing from you then Bob?
Over 35 years old, army quarters issue, can't think how I still have one in my possession, let alone two!
I have a wooden one which was my nan's, and a pyrex one which is about 40 years old................
I have a hollow rolling pin that you are supposed to fill with cold water to help pastry be cool. Must have had it for over 30 years as I used it to take urine sample to hospital when pregnant 33 years ago!
Apparently, a much rolled rolling pin found near the base of Mount Everest is about to be going to auction at Sothby's. The provenance suggests that Sir Edmund exclaimed "We don't have time for bloody pastry, Tensing: onwards and upwards, my good man."...Not a lot of people know that.
Sir Edmund got it wrong, mine is the tent mallet
Why is it called a Pin, that's what I'd like to know.
I was wondering that also, Svejk.
