you need to search your system for the outlook .pst file - this is the memory of the outlook email system.

(If you've archived stuff there may be more than one - if this sentence doesn't ring a bell, ignore it)

Then right click on Outlook today, in the folders list of outlook, open outllok data file, and guide it to where your .pst file is - that should reopen your email files.
Good luck - and don't panic - they're there somewhere.
One of the options in Outlook Express is to leave a copy of the mail on your server (ISP).

If you do this, even if your PC crashes you do not lose your e-mails, there is still a copy on the server.
Search for *.pst and *.pab -> .pst is the normal format within which m/soft outlook commonly stores your e-mails - copy this to a new location / redirect your properties to look at the pst file.
