a strange noise in the head

on many days as i just fall of to sleep i am woken by
a strange small noise in the head and also lurching feeling in the heart.i have been woken by missed beats but why this noise in the head.i am taking medicines for blood pressure ,epilepsy and asthma

I occasionally have a similar sensation when dropping off to sleep, a sudden jerk and short loud noise in the head. Although nothing to be concerned about if it goes away and you can then get to sleep, I would suggest that you talk to your GP about any possible side effects that your medication may be causing.
Gp's will only be too happy to discuss your medication with you, as it's obviously in their interests as well to make sure that you've got the right type for you.
