Linda Burnett, 23,who lives in Hitchen Herts., was visiting her in-laws, in
London and while there went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries.
Later, her husband noticed her sitting in her car in the driveway with the
windows rolled up and with her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of
her head. He became concerned and walked over to the car. He noticed that
Linda's eyes were now open and she looked very strange. He asked her if she was
ok, and Linda replied that she had been shot in the back of the head and had
been holding her brains in for over an hour.
The husband called an ambulance & paramedics broke into the car because the
doors were locked and Linda refused to remove her hands from her head. When
they finally got in, they found that Linda had a wad of bread dough on the back
of her head. A Pillsbury doe canister had exploded from the heat, making a
loud noise that sounded like a gunshot, and the wad of dough hit her in the back
of her head. When she reached back to find out what it was, she felt the dough
and thought it was her brains. She initially passed out, but quickly recovered.
Linda is blonde, a conservative and a David Cameron supporter, (that could be irrelevant).

LOL
That can't possibly be true, but on the faint chance it is- it's brilliant :-)
This never happened and is an urban myth. The place name changes from email to email. What shop in Britain sells "Pilsbury doe"?
I first read that one as a sort of "only in America" tale. Nice to see it's still doing the rounds.
Amusing though.
lol jem blond and a conservative too.
It isn't "pillsbury doe" anyway, it's Pillsbury Dough.
Well I have never heard it before Jem - ha ha
Oh god I am trying not to laugh too loud here at work!!!! Lol.
Bit of a dough head, wasn't she?
Funny how she was still called Linda, even when the story crossed the Atlantic.
She is still Linda Burnett, 23 too, although she is an Obama supporter in USA.
plus when is it ever hot here :)
i laughed tho

It's not an urban myth.

It happened to me, too.

The "bang" was really loud.

I was convinced my brains were falling out of my head.

These things do happen !!!
It could only happen in the US of A.
