Tea and a piece of home-baked Victoria sponge cake here going back, watching this marvellous bear documentary on BBC 1, filmed in Alaska.

Nope....we have a woman nearby who is a marvellous cake maker - one of my sisters too, but the south of France is a bit far to go for a cake, as she is down in her French palace at the moment.

I know how you feel, giveup. Today I cooked...well one prick and ping but the rest in the oven...my guests have eaten and gone...and some of the meal is still in the oven...it's very well done. I get so bored and forget what I am doing.....much better if people eat before they come here for dinner. x
