Watching a re-run of Going for Gold (not something I normally do) and Daphne from Eggheads is on. Never knew she was on other shows before Eggheads.

She was on the 15 to 1 episode recorded before mine.

We could hear her wiping the floor with the other contestants, and it didn't do much for our confidence.

She got through to the final of GFG but don't know how she got on after that. How did you get on in 15 to 1 Hopkirk?

This must have been before she got married because HK just called her Daphne Hudson.

I didn't get through to final three, but thankfully wasn't eliminated on the first two questions.

It was quite a challenge, as they had to eliminate 12 people before the first advert break.

It was a grand day out.

Yes Quizmonkey I suppose it is just never really thought about it. Don't watch Eggheads anymore, much prefer Pointless.

I wish 15 to 1 were still around, it was a great show. One of the best and certainly purest quiz shows ever, in my opinion.
