A big thick Lashford's Pork with apple and leek sausage, rib-eye steak, piece of grilled gammon, two mini lamb chops, and fresh black and white pudding, with grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, chips and peas. Egg for those who want them. Pineapple with coconut meringue pie for pud.

We took my (very small) stepson out a few weeks ago to a sausage supper. He ate nearly his own body weight in sausages. The staff at the hotel kind of fell in love with him and kept bringing him extra sausages. Of course, he just wolfed the lot. Everyone now thinks I don't feed him!

Only hubby has a cooked breakfast Cazz, that's if he can't get lunch - I 'cook' a cyber breakfast for waterboatman every morning
@cazz...I'm just not fond of beef...never have been.
Chorizo & Pea Risotto followed by, Oreo's, them Bahsen chocolate biscuits and Balsamic Vinegar & Sea Salt Crisps. Lot's of coke to wash it down with.
Question Author
Rather eclectic mix there Rocky!!
Sorry ILS, not for me...far too much! My brother is a 6'3 rugby player and even 1/2 of that lot would be too much for him! I hope you all enjoy it though.

Can't believe I'm being made to feel bad by some people for feeding my family! In the end one son had a steak, hubby the other, other son had a gammon steak, daughter the other, we each had a sausage, I had four tiny lamb chops, sons and hubby had two each. put three chops together to make one usual size chop. Nobody ate lunch, and I had tea and two oatie biscuits at 6.30am with a mug of tea - so I don't think it's a lot at all
Take no notice. ILS. You do not need to justify what you and your family have been eating. Just do what you do and feel comfortable with it.
Sounds fab to me, and I've just snaffled an extra-curricular ham salad sandwich. :o)
Don't worry Spikey, a few years ago I would have demolished your dinner easily (except or he peas!). In fact I wish I had your dinner and not mine, I feel a bit ill, note to self....don't let 12 year old daughter pick whatever she likes.

Thanks Tilly 2 - I know I shouldn't take any notice!
What the heckypeck, 'except for the peas' doh!
Sorry ILS, I forgot to answer your question.....I had roast pork and all the trimmings. Very nice it was, too.

Did you have a bit 'o' cracklin' Mrs Chappie?!! I love a bit 'o cracklin!
I didn't, as it happens, ILS. Last time I had some crackling, I broke a tooth and the blummin' thing, despite three visits to a dentist, is still not right.

So (reluctantly) crackling is now off the menu for me.
Question Author
Oh poor you (rubs arm) I'm sure these dentists spin things out to get more money out of us - I go every six months, right as rain, and have to go back for something!
where the feck is the Hog's Pudding - you heathens! (lol)
Sorry Iluvspikey, I didn't mean to make you feel bad at all! It came accross the wrong way, sorry.

Any pie left?? ;) xx
Yes, I must confess, that did occur to me, ILS. The bu88ers.

(Ooh, look at that.....it rhymed). :o)
