What Did Jesus Look Like?

I’ve just received a 2013 Memorial Invitation from the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I will have to decline their invitation, but have a look at it here – third item top line – and do check out the reverse side of the leaflet.

Jesus, despite having been born in the Middle East of Jewish parents, appears to have been a very handsome white man - and no stranger to a designer hairstylist - or the gym. What a hunk! How on earth can anyone take this gumpf seriously?

You can see there are many famous people in the world. Some are well-known in their own community, city, or country. Others are known worldwide. However, just knowing the name of someone famous does not mean that you truly know him. It does not mean that you know details about his background and what he is really like as a person, so is show a lack of knowledge.

Look, you can all stop arguing about this. As a matter of fact I saw Jesus's face in some drying plaster this morning and I can tell you that it was round and podgy with spots and no beard. His head was quite bald.

Hope that settles it once and for all.

As it is 2000 years since Jesus was on earth, there is no one around who can say what he looked like. So obviously it has to be just an artist's impression. But he was a perfect man, so maybe he would be a very handsome person. He certainly would not be walking around looking like something the cat dragged in! As to the colour of his skin, well, he is everything to everyone If a black man drew his picture maybe he would have black skin - who knows. The main point is that he came to earth, lived and died as a human.

Jesus appeared to me once again on my slice of toast this morning.
Today he looked like Grandpa Simpson

He probably looked a bit like mohammed and we have all seen pictures of him.

Mrs O, accidents like that are quite likely when you use 'simpson' motifed kitchen tissues. Just make sure that Bart's bum goes straight into the bin.
