Tippex

I'm not sure if this is the right section but anyhoo . . .

Is there any way of getting tippex of paper without ruining it. I was recently sent to do some photocopying of a fairly important document and was tolde told to photocopy it first and then tippex out the writing on the PHOTOCOPY so I'd be left with the master copy untouched and a template. Unfortunately I forgot the last detail and merrily started tippexing out all the important wiritng! Is there any way to rectify this, I'm scared! . . . and clearly very stupid!!

Get a bottle of tippex thinners from a stationers, some q-tips and start rubbing, but don't expect a perfect result!
