Can I Tippex Out The New Keepers Details On A V5C?

Or can I get a duplicate? Long story short I sold a bike, buyer bought it filled in the V5/C but something happened and the sale went wrong. Now I have a filled in V5C! When I sell the bike again can I just tippex over the details or what?
