Sad news - Richard Griffiths dead following complications of heart surgery.

I enjoyed his Pie in the Sky show, mainly because I like pies, and he had a memorable role in Withnail and I :)

He was also good at ticking off members of the audience if they had a phone go off during a performance....

Truly saddened at the news. I too loved him in Pie in the Sky and Withnail. The last time I saw him interviewed, he was looking forward to being with Danny DeVito in The Sunshine Boys, so it's a little while ago. Only 65, too. Not a great age these days. All good wishes to his friends and family for their sad loss.
