The publisher (an Aussie company called JoWood) was dissatisfied with the quality of the Stargate SG1 game, and decided to find another developer.
Turns out, the developers themselves (another Aussie company called Perception) own the liscence for the game, and have left the contract with JoWood.
Luckily, everything is back on track (although it was supposed to be released in October), and the company is hiring testers in Sydney this month.
Fingers crossed for a release early next year!
