I am terribly saddened to hear of Owd's passing and he will be remembered and missed by many on here.

May today be a day in which we remember how lucky we are and also remember those less fortunate.

Sincerest condolences to Owd's family. Xx

Yes it's very sad when we lose a member of AB - I have explained to my hubby (who doesn't come on this site) that we are like one big happy family, following each other's lives, sharing problems about illnesses - minor or major, problems with family and relationship, weather chat, giving advice about places to visit, help with computer problems and uplifting ABers who feel a bit down. It's great to be part of this big family, anyone else feel the same?
Today we are all feeling sad about Eric (Owd) even though we don't actually know him or even knew what he looked like - he was one of us, a brave soul who fought his illness with dignity and carried on posting right to the end. As NoM says we should remember how fortunate we are, count our blessings and keep smiling ....... Owd we remember you with smiles and love, rest in God's peace x
