I used to stop there sometimes for a coffee on my way from airport to villa. I used to go straight home and take a shower.

It's like Blackpool, but sunnier. Ok for a cheap quick escape for a few days but not somewhere I would choose to stay, it's years since we went there. Tenerife is my pet hate.

Took the kids there when they were small. Stayed in the north end where the 'brits abroad' influence is less. It has a decent beach and was good for an inexpensive family break.
It is what it is - just stay away from the southern bits.

My mum used to say keep your hand on your southern bits or words to that effect, but you look so stupid don't you.

I first went as a teenager in the 60's. Cheap and cheerful is what we wanted and what we got. Went back in the 90's, 5 star hotel and we were waited on hand and foot. You pay your money and make your choice.
