Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Does anyone know how long winners have to wait for their cash prize to arrive after winning in the DE Friday mentathlon quiz? I won £50 in November and have reminded them that the cheque hasn't arrived - but no reply and no dosh so far!

Good luck Beeby. I won £100 & a bottle of whisky in the Scottish Daily Express crossword competition in October. The whisky arrived but not the £100, I've written to them several times but have never received a reply; as I said at the start, good luck.

ive been lucky enough to win the mentathlon prize 3 times when the prizes hadnt arrived after 8 or so weeks i rang the paper and eventually got them

When the Express had scratchcards in their papers in the mid 90s I won a few bob a couple of times and always got the money pretty quick.

Then in 2006 I was in Glasgow briefly, they had a token to complete and send off from the Scottish Daily Express and they would send some sample single malt whiskies. I filled the form in and posted it but received nothing. But my permanent address at the time was in Mexico, so that may have had something to do with it.

Beeby. I have had the same problem, won the Star Sports Crossword twice. Once last year then again in November. I tried to ring (no joy) so wrote & even sent it Recorded Delivery. But heard nothing (Just glad i hadn't planned retiring on it) Ha ha

I had to wait about six weeks last year when I won £100 crossword,allow for christmas period,but they are never quick,don't give up!!!

I won £25 on the Sunday Express £1000 crossword a couple of years ago and the cheque took six weeks to arrive

I won £100 but did not recieve for the Skeleton, some kind A/B er gave the phone numberd a name [ sorry cant remember]rang them eventually spoke to a very apologetic lady and the cheque arrive within 7 days.
