11 bidders and started off at 1p. The seller has covered himself by saying that it is for sale elsewhere so that he can withdraw the listing at any time. A common ploy on ebay so that you don't have to sell if you're not satisfied with the bidding.
Some sellers have more than one accounts and sometimes use one account to bid on the items they are selling. It is illegal but some do it anyway.

I know of others who get friends and family to bid to push up the price.
fvf = final value fee

Even if it's sold there wont be any fvf is the seller does it properly, only an insertion fee
It's so not funny any more *yawn*
people cannot be 'forced' pay for an item they have bid on, though the winner may well be removed from ebay though or have a strike on their name, on principle, for ebay to discourage this kind of joke listing.

ebay know its a joke and arent going to realistically expect a payment... though they may well take their fees from the sellers account anyway...

Last night when i walked past it had gone to that paradise in the sky - the head was missing and the wig was lying on the ground beside the torso
That's an excellent snowman.

But it's listed as a "Used" item.

How has it been "used" ??
