One of my favorite films is "Zulu" which had a prequel (in story line)I think that it was called "Zulu Dawn"which I thought was just as good Carrying on this theme the film "The Alamo" (in my opinion not as good as the others)had a sequel where the Americans got the own back on the Mexicans for their defeat, does anyone know of this film and its title please.I thought that this film was much better than the "original" Thanks !!

There have been about three film versions of the Alamo. Jaohn Wayne, Fess Parker in the 50s and 60s playing Davy Crocket and the latest with Billy Bob Thornton as Crocket. Wayne's version was the best. I thought that Zulu was better than Zulu Dawn from a dramatic perspective and it also focused on real people as well as a real event - 11 VCs were won that day.

Thanks Craig, what I was looking for was not a rehash of the Alamo but a film of the subsequent action and revenge of that conflict .......and the name of the film.
