look at this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2252290/Jacintha-Sadanha-Nurse-answered-hoax-Duchess-Cambridge-attempted-kill-before.html Until now it almost seemed like the Media weren't going to be happy until the DJ's had also topped themselves. Are they vindicated now?

NM, yes I do do sympathy actually.......like I said, to the loved ones left behind to pick up the pieces
But they eventually get on with their lives, Joe.

Calling people who commit suicide "selfish" or "cowardly" is insensitive and wrong. Oftentimes they are ill and see no other way out.
I completely agree with Douglas. Prank calls and prank tv shows and prank radio shows have entertained us for decades. It's all so easy for unto get on our collective high horses after the event, but who could hold their hands up (before the nurse took her own life), to say "I think this could result in someone committing suicide".

No.

No-one could've predicted that. No-one.
I am in complete agreement wirh joeluke and ChinaDoll.

there were a few people who seemed to take offence at the notion that this woman was likely to have been already unstable, and who couldnt seem to accept that suicide is the not action of anyone in normal circumstances

i am glad this has come out ... maybe now the witch hunt and over reactions will stop.
I have to say that even if the woman was not of sound mind she was OK ALIVE and working, before the idiots telephoned the hospital. Sometimes thoughtless actions cause misery, those two were culpable, they didn't know who or what they were dealing with but their stupidity ended it all.
Some newspapers have been slating those DJs.

Just supposing one of the DJs couldn't cope with it ... and took their own life.

How far does one keep blaming people for other people's actions ??
well said JJ - no-one gives a toss about the mental health of the djs, whose lives have been ruined and they are the victim of a worldwide witchhunt - and no doubt a lynch mob if they could.

people have been calling for their imprisonment and even that they should kill themselves too - do people really think these two people - who did nothing more sinister than play a daft harmless prank on someone, a prank that under normal circumstances would have been forgotten by now - deserve to die?
