A Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year to you all. Have a great time with family and friends. I have just been informed that my Christmas afternoon and buffet supper guests have increased from 4 ...............to 11 !!!! Help! Good job I have enough food in! Will be great for the family to be all together though.

Just let us spare a thought to all those who are lonely, sad, bereaved, worried or ill this Christmastime. I, for one, will say a little prayer and count my blessings.

Yes Naomi - very true, in the list I apologise, I missed out the homeless, we must really sympathise with them in this really dreadful weather, its torrential rain here in the East Midlands and it must be so distressing for them to try to keep dry and warm - poor things. We do have a lot to be thankful for don't we? Love to all x
