I have just seen this of facebook and thought you might like to discuss it.

GOD IS THE GOD OF MIRACLES

A Muslim man in Egypt killed his
wife because she was reading the
Bible and then buried her with
their infant baby and an 8-year
old daughter. The girls were
buried alive! He then reported to
the police that an uncle killed the
kids. 15 days later, another family
member died.

When they went to
bury him, they found the 2 little
girls under the sand -ALIVE! The
country is outraged over the
incident, and the man will be
executed..
The older girl was
asked how she had survived and
she says:-'A man wearing shiny
white clothes, with bleeding
wounds in his hands, came every
day to feed us.

He woke up my
mom so she could nurse my
sister,' she said. She was
interviewed on Egyptian national
TV, by availed Muslim woman
news anchor.

She said on public
TV, 'This was none other than
Jesus, because nobody else does
things like this!' Muslims believe
Isa (Jesus) would do this, but the
wounds mean He really was
crucified, and it's clear also that
He is alive! But, it's also clear that
the child could not make up a
story like this, and there is no way
these children could have survived
without a true miracle.

Muslim leaders are going to have a hard
time to figure out what to do with
this, and the popularity of the
Passion movie doesn't help! With
Egypt at the centre of the media
and education in the Middle East ,
you can be sure this story will
spread.

Christ is still turning the
world upside down!
Please let this
story be shared.

The Lord says, 'I
will bless the person who puts his
trust in me.' Jeremiah 17 Please
forward to all on your list and God
will reward you abundantly!!

Mark 8:38 which says, 'Therefore
whosoever shall be ashamed of
Me and my Words in this
adulterous and sinful generation,
the Son of Man shall also be
ashamed of him when He comes
in the glory of His Father with the
holy angels'.

@chakka35. "Sorry to spoil a good fairy story with boring pedantry but Jesus has bleeding hands only in pious paintings. Crucifixion nails were put through the wrist. The tendons of the palm would never support a man's weight." (chakka)

An experiment that was the subject of a documentary on the National Geographic Channel's Quest For Truth: The Crucifixion, showed that a person can be suspended by the palm of the hand. Nailing the feet to the side of the cross relieves strain on the wrists by placing most of the weight on the lower body.

.
Olly, for a nail driven through the ankle or heel to support the weight of the body or even a significant part of it the part of the leg below the knee would have to be tied or nailed to the cross in order to keep it vertical otherwise the legs would genuflect thus putting most of the weight onto the hands. (That is why we don't sleep standing up.) This additional support is not mentioned in the bible so could not have happened. There are no straws left for you to clutch.

@jomifl. Tell it to the National Geographic.

Sorry Olly, I forgot that they are experts on everything and completely unbiased.
Olly, would you mind asking the Ed to remove your post at 12.54 Tue 27th Nov? Nothing wrong with it - it's just that for people using certain browsers, the right hand side of the text disappears under the adverts when long links are posted, rendering the posts incomprehensible. The technical people are working on the problem. You can make the request via the report button. Thanks.
I am quite sure that some at-that-time cult leader called Jesus was crucified as this was common practice with criminals in those times. Be it tied, nailed or both. What does that prove?

The imaginary God must surely be a fool for that was the right time to perform a miracle and persuade all to follow and worship him.
Wildwood, I expect god delayed the miracle to test jesus's faith.
