Does anyone know where I can buy a reasonably priced supply of non-fairtrade coffee, which tastes as coffee used to?

if you want coffee as it used to be, get camp coffee essence, They sell it in the co-op
The Home Bargains chain of stores do bags of coffee for £1 and it tastes like it should. Make sure you get the right grade as there are 5 different strengths of coffee.

I hope it does not make you stay awake all night!
What's wrong with a jar of Gold Blend from Sainsbury's?
Why specifically non-fairtrade. Does coffee produced by exploited farmers taste better?
We like Douwe Egberts, great flavour - but we buy it on special offer, not full price.
Can you get Camp coffee that don't have "added sugar"?
The only place I've had decent coffee is Spain. As that is no longer an option I drink tea. Tetley's black no sugar.
I've heard that Lavazza is good.
A reply for Jeza,as I can't see where to send a P.M. I have lived in Spain now for over 3 years and a "cortade grande en vasso" is wonderful, so now I have ventured into making stove top coffee, oh boy! that,s nearly as good.
allgram.
If you're out and about and want a decent coffee...McDonalds coffee is right up there with the best of them
Most coffe shop coffee is not much more than hot water. I used to add a shot of esspresso but that doubls the cost. If you are talking about instant, my wife will drink nothing but Carte Noir. Every now and then there are special offers and we clear the shelves!
I heard that it is recommended that you change your coffee brand every 3 months as you get a bit bored with the same taste. Personally i love Nescafe original but will occasionally swap it for Carte noir or Gold
Lavazza gold is lovely. You need an espresso maker though as it's not instant coffee.
