The other day I met a nice guy really handsome, friendly, great personality, we got chatting online in "singles" forum, we got on really well and he kept complimenting me saying how he would like to take me out etc etc.

today however he confessed to me he has a girlfriend who he cares about a lot and loves and is attracted to but whenever they argue he does stuff like go on forums and talk to girls....I told him it was wrong and any issues he has with her should be sorted out and he shouldnt feel the need to "cheat"

what do you peeps make of this?

such a shame why do people do this? is it so hard for them just to sort their issues out with the other rather than try to enjoy more than one person at once, hope he learns from his ways, he's disgracing himself aswell
Khandro??

Creep isn't the word. You did the right thing, he ought to make up his mind, bet his gf would ditch him if she knew. Not all the girls he chats up may be as nice as you satyr, some don't give a toss they are already taken.
In fairness he did only speak to someone and flirt a bit on a chatroom, he didn't do anything about it and he was the one who owned up and backed off. I personally think he was just being more honest than a lot of people, he didn't kill anyone.
Blimey....look at those replies from JJ and pusskin...........they chat on-line(AB) every day, with more "tasty morsels" than you guy.
"Kettle black" comes to mind.

You have never met him i presume........wait a minute :

\\\The other day I met a nice guy really handsome, friendly\\

So you HAVE met him.......

I just can't see the problem ...sorry...and i agree with NOX.

Guys
But he did tell the OP that he would like to take her out, etc etc.

Sounds like my sleaze of an ex.
NoM....any man worth having has a bit of "sleaze" about him.............which you like a guy that didn't have a bit of "devil" in him or other women didn't fancy him OR he wasn't interested in other women?

Christ...what a bore he would be.
No, Sqad. Strange as it may appear, I wouldn't want a guy who is interested in other women.
NoM....a "gay" is then your answer...............c'mon, you are an attractive woman who will attractive attractive and interesting men...........there are no guarantees in life...."stand by your man"...fight for him"....if he is easy to get and keep, then it is likely that he is not worth having.
sqad have you been taking the stupid platitude tablets again or is it the wine talking?
Very funny you should say that... ;)
Why do people trust others on the internet, we can all be anything we want online. Take any online dating with a pinch of salt until you actually do meet with them and then it can go on as normal dating, and even then either party could be cheating.
at least he had the decency to tell you the truth in the end which should count for something he could have kept the pretence up and strung you along.
I have two friends who have found wonderful partners on the net, but loads more who have had disasters.
