I have just been for a walk down our lane and have noticed that the cow parsley is in flower again, now correct me if I am wrong but it is normally springtime when the cow parsley is out. I have lived in the countryside all of my life but I have never noticed this before + the house martins left three weeks earlier than last year and a lot of my shrubs have already dropped their leaves and we havn't had a frost yet so what is going on. It will be interesting to watch for any weather abnormalities in the coming weeks. Anyone else spotted something unusual with the nature around you? It would be interesting to see if there is a pattern emerging.

According to one headline last week we are in for a really bad winter and the councils are stockpiling salt already.
Looks like heating up, extra food in and batten down the hatches.
I haven't got any hatches to batten down.
I've got a new snow shovel.............I just need to find someone to use it.
It all looks rather grim; better find a few witches to burn.
