Wish I had ...

Starting to really wish I had joined the police when I was a teenager (as I wanted to) (but I also wanted to be a food technologist until someone told me you had to taste cat food). What do you wish you had done?

i wish i had become a chef.

loved cooking some thirty years ago - had the chance to develop upon that - but didn't.

I always wanted to be a pharmacist. However, in my day (not the case now I believe) one had to pass 'A'level Physics - it took me 2 tries to pass 'O'level so Pharmacy was a no-no for me!

I wish I had joined the police too. I would have loved to have been a dog handler. My uncle, who was an Inspector, put me off the idea.
Instead, I spent thirty nine years as a teacher and I am still teaching part time in my valuable retirement. Oh well.

It could have been worse, I suppose.

I was put off joining the police because my biological father was a big wig in the local police so I went into teaching (but only managed 16 years).
