Last night I asked a question about a peripheral for my playstation 3, I came back onto AB today and noticed one answer had been removed....my my only guess was that it was offensive.

I have a question, why are there so many crazy nasty psycho people out there?, why can't SOME of you either answer normally or refrain from abuse?

I know we all get hot under the collar but control people...a little please.

cubic - the post removed is most likely one of the sales pitches/adverts that are regularly posted in the middle of the night from the USA. They are not necessarily offensive but break AB Site Rules. You will find that many posts have Answer Removed overnight.

Sir Prize is spot on, never assume a removed answer is a nasty one - you will soon get to know what goes on in here in the wee small hours.

It would have been our serial spammer who posts about 20 spam posts in threads- usually in the early hours of the morning

I had the same thing in a post I put up in the Gardening section, I thought the same but i'm glad that it was probably just some nincompoop being silly.

Nice to know we have "control people" out there, working in the dark hours, burrowing away, keeping the AB streets safe, preventing crass stupidity. What next, CCTV for ABers?

Agree. It must get lonely, and a little frightening, patrolling the mean, echoing, streets of ABville late at night. Alert, watchful, ready for the first Asian sales spam.

Don't worry, cubic, it's neither anything you've said/written, and don't worry about any "answer removed" early in the morning. Thats usually because of the trolling spammers trying to attack this site in the early hours of the morning. And IMO IS absolutely nothing to do with the AB community, but don't despair as to the actions which you've observed last night, as the Ab Editor and moderators of this site are aware of the phenomenon & are dealing with it on a thread by thread basis. ☺

Hey Sandy, yes it went well (was a first) was all over in 1.39 and a little help from my ipod - only downside I bled a lot before she could tape me up, just a wee bruise.

I once asked in 'Food & Drink' what is the common name for cooked processed pork in a tin. Some answered me with spam as well.
