Maybe one of the two "neighbours" mentioned would like to offer the lovely lady a roof over her head...I'm sure she would love to have a shed in one of their gardens...
She has been offered accommodation on numerous occasions.

How strange that she refuses any help. Ah bless her.
maybe she feels independent? Although at the age of 75, I think I'd be more concerned about her mental health as well as physical.
I suppose if she accepted offers it would mean she'd be sort of forced to move on, something she clearly didn't want to do.

How sad for her, what a shame that she refuses help. At her age she needs a few comforts.

I hope she soon finds some nice warm shelter to stay for a while x
Leave her be i say! She was happy and doing no harm, and folk
Obviously care about her & keep an eye on her xx
We have a number of people in our area like that. One is a professor who has resorted to wandering the streets for at least the past 15 years or so. It does make you wonder what triggers this change of life in people.

The article says she has money, so it appears to be a chosen lifestyle. I'm not sure whether to sympathise with her, or not....

Maybe the lady is happy just being on her own after an unhappy time in her life. Was thinking of her last night while tucked up in my cosy bed! I hope she recieves all the comfort she needs to continue her lonely sort of life.
