I always have custody of the remotes, mainly because OH is registered blind and can't see which button is which. He can watch footie whenever he wants and I sometimes watch it too. If I don't want to there's other TV's or the internet to keep me amused.

What do the other half's do while the footie is on. Do you have to supply all the grub, or is that only for big games?
The remote is all mine now but when OH was alive and we replaced our Humax I kept the old remote and secreted it down the side of my chair. It was weeks before OH twigged why the channels would change "on their own" and why the sound always went off when the football came on. I had such fun. ;-)
Naughty gal, gness. lol
Hi Tony. Naughty is fun! x
I know that, very well gness lol. x
I can't get near the remote. My granddaughter used to hide the remote when she was small and used to stay over with us. This year she sent him a birthday card which said "Sshhh Grandad is asleep, don't wake him up he'll only put some cr*p on the TV". So I'm not the only one.
If we had a TV(that worked) then yeah definitely when football is on.... however I wouldn't be allowed if the grand prix was on!
The sound gets turned down when I walk past his chair, especially when the F1 racing is on.
One up side of living alone.

Hey QoM what do you mean we OWN the remote? I hold control of the remote, today, tomorrow and always!
