Last month I spotted the first 'Book now for Christmas' signs outside a restaurants in Diss.

Last week I saw that a 99p shop in Ipswich had just filled a large area of the store with Christmas decorations for sale.

. . and now Janice Long has just played 'Silent Night' on Radio 2.

Oh well, what the 'eck. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em:
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!

For Edde51:
I was working in Cambridge recently and picked up a copy of the local paper. In it a letter-writer was bemoaning the closure of the pub next door to the Flying Pig (I can't think why -it was a dump!) and mentioned that the Flying Pig was set to go the same way. I'm still in shock!

:(
Its not safe yet Chris , the site has been sold to developers but there is a strong campaign to keep it
