Lucky you, pea green with envy, our beamer died and has now gone for scrap. Need to find another car now. :(

Ratter machano kit on steroids! Bmws suck we had an 520 touring and the coolant system went bang and warped all the heads!

Head gasket, not a cheap job then.

We were lucky no scoring in the cylinder heads so just a change of the gaskett clean up and rebuild of the engine head. great fun and glad iknow how to do it now, theres was a breach between cylinder 2 and 3

We thought it was the head gasket, too but after fitting one, there was a problem with a viscose fan (?), then a thermostat and a new water pump!
all gone for scrap now - in deepest mourning
That was our third beamer and every time there has been bother with head gaskets - I've dared best beloved to get another one, as after a while they become nothing but a money pit

thats why we got shot our viscose fan was shot to hell and that meant one failed mot so didnt bother and scraped him-heinz
