lol get ready for hundreds of ... 'I'm sick of the Olympics' threads



I know how hated Seb Coe is on AB (loads of Sugar about him on here)


But his victory in the 1980 Moscow games is my favourite memory.
Having lost the 800 metres he shown some great resolve to come back and win the 1500.


And remember this, Coe 'haters' ..... he is the only man in history to win 2 golds in the greatest Olympic event.

Most of you won't remember Emile Zatopek I was only about 8/9 years old but he was a formidable distance runner, and winner of the triple gold for his 5,000 and 10.000 m racing. I think it was him that gave me the shove to go into athletics throughout my school years.
