Just watching this largely light-hearted programme. So saddened to hear an elderly gentleman who wished that you didn't identify yourself by religion/nationality......just as a member of the Human Race. So, very true.

I don't know whether it's my imagination but have you noticed that the Jewish people are beginning to be more outgoing about their religion. We hear so much about Muslims, Christians (and atheists) that all thoughts of other religions go by the wayside. I too find it sad that religion is the separator to relationships. Years ago I was friendly with a nice Jewish young man, (handsome and rich too) but in the end I couldn't bring myself to make the switch to the Jewish religion. My parents wouldn't agree either.
Do you think Israeli TV executives would ever commision a programme about Protestants living in Tel Aviv?

No, me neither.
I don't know, blades_fan, but I'm not sure what point you are making? Are you just saying how good it is that in the UK we are still prepared to give 'air time' to what some might consider 'alternative cultures'?
I love Strictly Kosher! The Jewish religion fascinates me.
After everything he'd been through eccles, I found that comment really moving.
